I’ve a BA (hons) in fine art painting from Central St Martins College of art and Design and went on to work in the creature effects department on the first 3 Harry Potter movies. I left, bought a camera, and spent the next few years learning to take and develop photographs ,this lead me to work as a documentary photographer with notable assignments taking me to Sri-Lanka’s coastal towns hit by the tsunami, and to document the work of a children’s charity at a Tibetan village in the Hymichel Pradesh region of India, as well as at the Druk White Lotus School Ladakh in Jammu Kashmir. My interest in people, places and local architecture have been fuelled by these trips and my decision to enrol on to the MA production design course at the National Film and Television school seemed the perfect way to consolidate many of my interests and experiences. I find animation to be the area of filmmaking I’m most interested in.
